Edible Brands, the parent company of Edible Arrangements, is launching Edibles.com, an e-commerce marketplace for hemp products. The 2018 Farm Bill legalized hemp, defined as containing 0.3% or less THC. Edibles.com will start in Texas, with plans to expand nationwide, including Florida and Georgia. The company also secured a lease for a physical location in Atlanta. Edibles.com’s products will have a dosage of about five milligrams of THC per serving, lower than Colorado’s cap of 10 milligrams. The platform will feature trusted brands like Cantrip, 1906, Cann, and Wana, all of which underwent rigorous compliance audits. Edible Brands will utilize its franchise network, covering 70% of U.S. households within an hour, for same-day or next-day delivery. The company has conducted extensive compliance checks and plans to offer nationwide shipping for select products. Future plans may include producing their own edibles.
