5-7 Business Days to Kill: The Slow Pace of Marvel Rivals

In Marvel Rivals, the average time to kill is reported to be between 5-7 business days. The game’s latest patch, set for March 13th, 2025, will buff Iron Man, Cloak & Dagger, and Human Torch. Cloak & Dagger, one of the most-picked heroes in February, will see specific changes. Despite these updates, the triple strategist meta remains dominant, with characters like Invisible Woman, Loki, and Luna Snow being popular in tournaments like Fight Night. Four characters in the game have ultimates focused on negating damage through excessive healing, which may contribute to the slower gameplay pace. Marvel Rivals has been available for less than six months, yet Season 1: Eternal Night Falls has already seen significant shifts in competitive play. The game plans to add ten new heroes by the end of 2025, with two heroes introduced each season.
