$900 Million Distributed: Iconiq Capital’s Impact on Philanthropy

Iconiq Capital, backed by Mark Zuckerberg, has made a significant impact in the world of philanthropy through its collaborative funds and co-labs. In just under a decade, ICONIQ Impact distributed an impressive $900 million, with Matti Navellou at the helm.

One notable example is the co-lab focused on youth mental health, which raised $112 million from 10 families aiming to reach $200 million by year-end. This collaborative approach allows clients’ capital to be pooled for multiyear grants, making a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Interestingly, women are set to inherit approximately 70% of the staggering $124 trillion over the next 25 years, which could lead to a significant boost in charitable giving. As Navellou notes, young adults prioritize measurable impact and want to make a change through philanthropy. With this trend on the rise, it will be exciting to see how Iconiq Capital continues to shape the future of philanthropy.
