Recent polls indicate that 74% of Democrats are currently experiencing high levels of anger. This sentiment is directed towards the Trump administration’s policies affecting the public sector, judiciary, immigration, universities, international alliances, and the U.S. Constitution. Additionally, 68% of Democrats feel frustrated with the Republican Party’s support for Trump, Elon Musk, Russell Vought, and various groups including social-media trolls, Christian nationalists, and tech entrepreneurs. Despite these strong emotions, historical trends show that such anger does not necessarily lead to the formation of new political movements like the Tea Party.
