Domino’s Pizza is finally introducing its Parmesan Stuffed Crust pizza on Monday, after a three-year development process. This move comes as the company aims to recapture the 13 million customers who annually buy stuffed crust from competitors. Despite not offering stuffed crust, a survey revealed that 73% of Domino’s customers mistakenly believed the chain already had it on the menu. The new crust, made with mozzarella and topped with garlic seasoning and Parmesan cheese, is part of Domino’s $9.99 carryout deal. The launch follows extensive market research showing that stuffed crust buyers tend to purchase pizza more often and spend more per transaction. Domino’s also improved its kitchen operations and retrained employees across 7,000 stores to ensure a smooth rollout.
