71% Off: Google Slashes Workspace Price for Federal Agencies!

Google has secured a deal with the federal government, offering Google Workspace at a 71% discount. This agreement makes the service available to all government agencies. The discount aims to capitalize on the government’s ongoing efforts to reduce spending. Google estimates that this deal could result in savings of up to $2 billion for the federal government. Previously, Google offered discounts to encourage federal agencies to switch to Workspace, but Microsoft has historically dominated the market. Despite some success, Google has struggled to displace Microsoft, which secured an $8 billion contract for its 365 productivity tools with the Department of Defense in 2020.

Google is quietly pushing small businesses into 3-year Workspace contracts — while dodging clear answers about whether you can reduce license counts.Section 2.1(b) says you’re “committed” for the term, but doesn’t define flexibility. That ambiguity feels intentional.Looks
