7.4 Million Viewers Can’t Get Enough of ‘The Traitors’ Finale!

The third season finale of the BBC’s reality TV show, The Traitors, attracted a record-breaking audience of 7.4 million viewers. This is a significant increase from the previous year’s finale, which had 6.9 million viewers. Set in a Scottish castle, the show involves participants, or “players,” with some secretly designated as Traitors who aim to eliminate others for a prize of up to £120,000. The remaining players, known as Faithfuls, must identify and vote out the Traitors. In the finale, two Faithfuls, Jake Brown and Leanne Quigley, shared a prize of £94,600. The show, which has been running for three seasons, introduced a twist in the final episode where one Faithful could identify a Traitor, leading to some viewer criticism. Despite this, the show’s popularity continues to grow, with plans for a celebrity version in the works.
