30% Revenue Share: Rocket League’s New In-Game Currency and Shop Revamp

Rocket League is set to replace Esports Tokens with Credits as its universal in-game currency on April 22nd. This change, announced by developer Psyonix on March 21st, aims to streamline the purchasing experience. Esports Tokens are no longer available for purchase. Players holding Esports Tokens on April 22nd will have them converted to Credits, receiving a 10% boost with the final amount rounded up to the nearest 50. Conversion rates may vary by country. The Esports Shop will be renamed to the RLCS Shop on the same date. The revamped shop will introduce universal Decals for the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS) 2025, applicable to most car bodies, and Takeover Goal Explosions. Over 30 teams, including G2 Esports, Gen.G, and Team Vitality, are featured in the RLCS Shop. The revenue-sharing model allocates 30% of item sales revenue to the esports organizations.
