The League of Legends 2025 First Stand Tournament concluded with a staggering 1.1 million peak viewers. This inaugural cross-regional competition featured teams like Team Liquid, Karmine Corp, Hanwha Life Esports, Top Esports, and CTBC Flying Oyster. Held from March 10th to 16th, the tournament offered a $1 million prize pool. Despite fluctuating viewership numbers throughout, the Grand Finals between Karmine Corp and Hanwha Life Esports surpassed 1 million peak viewers, ranking it as the second most-watched LoL event of 2025. Only the LCK Cup, with 1.91 million peak viewers, was more popular. The tournament was co-streamed by notable figures such as Marc “Caedrel” Lamont and Christian “IWDominate” Rivera. South Korean teams continue to dominate the global rankings, led by Hanwha, T1, and Gen.G Esports. The next major event, the Mid-Season Invitational, begins on June 27th, offering direct qualification to the 2025 World Championship.
