Bitcoin Plunges Below $75,000: Shocking Stats Reveal Crypto Market Turmoil

Bitcoin fell below $75,000 during the Asian morning. This drop came as S&P 500 futures experienced a 2% loss after the U.S. increased tariffs on China to 104%. The Australian dollar, sensitive to China’s economic health, hit a five-year low of 0.5913 against the U.S. dollar. The U.S. Treasury market also showed signs of a potential liquidity squeeze. Sentiment briefly improved when China expressed willingness to communicate on trade issues without announcing new tariffs on U.S. imports. However, this optimism faded when China raised tariffs on U.S. goods from 34% to 84%, causing Bitcoin to fall back below $76,000 after a brief rally to around $77,000. In the broader crypto market, the TRUMP token hit record lows near $7.5, down 90% from its peak, with a $360 million unlock scheduled later in the month. Meanwhile, BlocScale’s seed sale for its native token BLOC saw over 35% of its allocation claimed, indicating strong interest from early investors and XRP enthusiasts.
