Web3, despite its potential, has seen limited adoption due to its complexity. Only about 10% of the world owns cryptocurrency, and a small fraction of these users actively engage with decentralized applications (dApps). However, the emergence of AI agents promises to revolutionize this landscape. These agents, designed to thrive in complex environments, can process vast amounts of information, automate intricate workflows, and operate seamlessly across decentralized networks. They will not just use Web3; they will unlock its full potential by executing tasks, managing assets, and transacting on behalf of users. This shift is supported by three core layers of the Post Web stack: the Agentic Layer, where AI acts as the interface; the Trust Layer, utilizing smart contracts for verifiable transactions; and the Infrastructure Layer, providing decentralized resources like computing power and storage. With AI agents, Web3 could finally operate at the scale it was meant to, potentially increasing its usage by a significant margin.
