EVE Online’s FPS Boost: Up to 50% Increase in Performance!

EVE Online is set to receive a major performance upgrade with the introduction of a new GPU-driven rendering pipeline. This update promises to enhance gameplay by shifting more processing to the GPU, resulting in smoother gameplay, higher frame rates, and a more immersive universe. Testing has shown an impressive average FPS gain of 25-50%. The changes will benefit all players, whether they’re trading in busy hubs, engaging in high-speed combat, or commanding large fleets. The update reduces CPU strain, allowing for larger-scale engagements with less stutter and fewer slowdowns. This performance boost is tailored for DirectX 12 and macOS users. Capsuleers are invited to test this new system on the Singularity test server from 17:00-19:00 UTC on 28 February, with extended testing available until 3 March. Participants will receive Large Skill Injectors as a reward. The update will officially launch on Tranquility on 18 March.
