Canary Capital has filed for a U.S. spot ETF that tracks the price of Tron’s TRX token. The proposed Canary Staked TRX ETF would incorporate staking through third-party providers. BitGo will serve as the custodian for the assets. The fund’s pricing will be based on CoinDesk Indices calculations. The management fee and ticker symbol for the ETF have not yet been disclosed. Previously, issuers removed staking features from their spot Ethereum ETF applications to gain SEC approval. However, with the new SEC leadership, 80% of issuers are hopeful about adding staking to their funds. The SEC recently postponed a decision on Grayscale’s request to include staking in their Ethereum Trust ETFs.
