51.7% Shooting: Texas A&M’s Offensive Efficiency Propels Them to NCAA Tournament Victory

Texas A&M showcased a dominant performance in their NCAA tournament game, shooting an impressive 51.7% from the field. Pharrel Payne led the charge with 25 points on 10-of-12 shooting and 10 rebounds. The Aggies’ defense was equally formidable, holding Yale to just 29% shooting in the first half. Despite Yale’s efforts to close the gap, Texas A&M maintained control, pushing their lead back to 15 points late in the game. Wade Taylor IV contributed 16 points to the effort. Yale’s leading scorer, John Poulakidas, struggled, finishing with 23 points on a 7-of-18 shooting night.
