50% Surge in Backyard Barbecue Costs: Inflation Hits Home

Inflation has significantly impacted the cost of everyday events like backyard barbecues. According to a weekly updated tracker, the prices of items for such gatherings have risen noticeably. Last year, assurances were given that these prices would decrease. However, the data shows that costs continue to escalate at a pace that is easily felt by consumers. This tracker, which also covers other common events like breakfast and B.L.T. sandwiches, provides a clear picture of how inflation is affecting everyday expenses. For those interested in tracking grocery list inflation, another tool called InflataCart is available.

What a liar. Prices not only will rise on domestic goods, they already have. Hamburger at my local snack bar just jumped from $7.50 to $10. US beef suppliers hiked prices weeks ago. That’s not a little bit more. That’s a 33% hike. So disgusted by these gaslighters.
