Recent statistics show that 50% of Americans disapprove of presidential attacks on the judiciary. Chief Justice John Roberts publicly rebuked President Donald Trump after Trump called for the impeachment of a judge. This incident underscores a significant tension between the executive branch and the judiciary. According to polls, this disapproval rate reflects a broad public sentiment against such confrontations. The clash highlights the ongoing challenges within the separation of powers in the U.S. government. These statistics are crucial as they indicate public opinion on the matter, which can influence political and judicial dynamics.

Don’t know if Trump knew of the disdain both Roberts and Barrett have towards him. The US Rule of Law has been under attack for decades and when it comes to the judiciary branch, it is only effective if it is perceived as impartial. That is no longer the case.
