SOL Strategies, a Canadian firm, purchased 24,000 SOL tokens in March at an average price of C$199 ($139.8) each. This acquisition, valued at approximately $3.37 million, increased their total SOL holdings to 267,151 tokens. The company has staked nearly all of its SOL, totaling 265,295 tokens, across four validators it operates. Since early March, SOL Strategies’ share price has dropped by 25%, mirroring a 27% decline in SOL’s value over the same period. Over a longer timeframe, since the start of the Trump presidency, the company’s stock has fallen by 67%, while Solana has decreased by 58%. In March, SOL Strategies expanded its validator infrastructure by acquiring three nodes for $24.5 million, which more than doubled the amount of SOL staked on its infrastructure from 1.66 million to over 3.35 million tokens. Additionally, the firm holds 3.211 bitcoin but remains primarily focused on the Solana ecosystem.
