Prior to the changes, players had to navigate multiple markets and structures to buy and sell PLEX, resulting in trading frictions and inefficiencies. The new system pools all trades into one unified market, eliminating the need for hauling and canceling outstanding orders. Fees will be reimbursed to affected players.
The updated market also provides global prices visible in private structures, although trading restrictions still apply. CCP Rattati, CCP Swift, and CCP Monty discussed the changes on Spotify, while feedback has been shared through Discord, forums, and with CSM reps. The team plans to continue iterating to remove any remaining trading frictions.
These changes aim to improve the overall player experience, making it easier for players to buy, sell, and use PLEX in their gameplay.
