The New York Times has stepped in to fill the void left by FiveThirtyEight’s shutdown, continuing the essential work of poll tracking. Previously, FiveThirtyEight provided this data as a public service until its closure by ABC News this month. The New York Times, in collaboration with Siena College, is now aggregating polls and offering comprehensive analysis. This initiative builds on the legacy of FiveThirtyEight and Pollster.com at The Huffington Post. The Times/Siena College poll is recognized as one of the country’s top pollsters. The data, starting with presidential approval ratings, will be freely available for public use with proper attribution to The New York Times. Currently, 50% of Americans approve of the president’s performance.
