In the skills challenge, Team Cavs, consisting of Donovan Mitchell and Evan Mobley, clinched victory with a time of 1:00.4. However, controversy arose when Team Spurs’ Victor Wembanyama and Chris Paul were disqualified for not making valid shot attempts.
The 3-point contest saw Buddy Hield tie the record with a first-round score of 31 points, but Tyler Herro emerged as the champion with 24 points in the final round. Damian Lillard’s quest for a three-peat ended in the opening round.
The dunk contest concluded with Mac McClung securing a historic three-peat, earning perfect scores for all his dunks, including a standout performance where he jumped over a Kia and Evan Mobley.
The Rising Stars event featured Team C, coached by Chris Mullin, advancing to the All-Star Game after winning their semifinal. Stephon Castle was named MVP, scoring 12 points in the final.
